This qualification is designed for people who are new to the industry or considering a career in film, video or other related screen production industries. Graduates will have the skills, knowledge and attributes to operate with supervision as useful contributors in the screen production industry. This includes the attributes necessary to contribute to a bi and multi-cultural environment in Aotearoa New Zealand.
To equip students with early-to-intermediate industry-led skills and knowledge in filmmaking and screenwriting. To facilitate the development of self-reflective creative practice, underpinned by transferable skills.
This is an NZQA accredited programme of study that leads to the Level 5 NZ Diploma in Screen Production.
