The Film and Television Production M.A. program offers students the opportunity to enhance the artistic, organizational, economic, legal, and entrepreneurial skills and knowledge acquired during their undergraduate studies.
During the M.A. program, students further develop their ability to independently plan and implement film projects and acquire an in-depth understanding of all dimensions of creative entrepreneurial work. The focus is on production modules, in-depth training in story development, format trade, and distribution. Students receive extensive and detailed knowledge about topics such as accounting, controlling, and entrepreneurship as well as legal issues, media politics, and human resources management.
The M.A. program’s goal is to enable graduates to successfully start and advance their careers in the film and television industry. Throughout the entire program, experienced industry professionals provide students with guidance and support. Their graduation projects allow students not only to establish contact with potential partners from other programs, but also to learn about the structures and key players of the national and international media industry.
