Our Story
Cinefilium is a film streaming platform devoted exclusively to young film students and recent graduates pursuing a career in the film industry. We are dedicated to helping them showcase their work.
This is a project that came from the heart of a struggling young filmmaker, whose works grappled with limited audience exposure. Cinefilium allows young filmmakers to broadcast their films to the right audience. An audience comprised of fellow film students, up-and-coming filmmakers, rising artists, mere cinephiles and even potential industry professionals, who might be seeking out fresh talent.
Our Mission
Our main purpose is to make it easier for students, aspiring filmmakers and emerging artists to launch their careers in the industry by addressing one of the artist’s prime needs – the need for an audience and exposure.
Art only gains value when it finds its audience.
Films become art when they meet their public, when they’re seen by people, when they’re watched by the right viewers.
It is our mission to help young artists from all corners of the world be seen and heard, to make their climb a little less difficult, by offering them a platform through which their films can reach a film-loving audience.
