Applicants profile: Beginners / Employees in Media / All those who are interested in further education in media and who might find the basic film disciplines useful in their professional lives.
Course description: Having fulfilled the Fall semester’s requirements (see Ceritificate Film Course), students continue to deepen their theoretical knowledge gained in the first semester, and develop their practical filmmaking skills in the Spring semester. The final project, The Silent Etude, offers students the freedom to experiment with more complicated storylines, without the pressure of dialogues and difficult sound design (only background music is used).
Graduate’s profile: After completion of the course the participant should be able to develop an idea from the script to the final visual adaptation, using basic directing, production, sound and editing skills. Graduates will master how all areas of AV creation should be processed to become a cohesive and comprehensive whole. Students who successfully complete this course can either choose to receive the graduation certificate (Film Course Diploma) or extend their studies at FAMO and continue in the Bachelor’s Degree Programme from the 2nd year of study.
