Applicant’s profile: Beginners / Employees in Media / All those who are interested in further education in media and who might find the basic film disciplines useful in their professional lives.
Course description: The one-semester course serves as an introduction to the basics of all the important disciplines of filmmaking. The course focuses on theory and simple practical exercises. The final project is called The Meeting, during which students apply their newly acquired knowledge to develop a simple story in a visually understandable way.
Graduate’s profile: After completion of the course the participant should be able to develop an idea from the script to the final visual adaptation, using basic directing, production, sound and editing skills. Students who successfully complete this course can either choose to receive the graduation certificate (Film Course Certificate) or extend their studies to include the Spring semester, and complete the Diploma Film Course.
